We are dedicated to provisioning for diverse participation at Women of the Water. To reduce as many barriers to attendance as possible, we are pleased to provide modest support for student travel to this year's conference. If you are a student, you can opt-in to apply for travel support on your registration form; a separate application will then be sent to all students who indicate interest.

To apply for student travel support, please indicate your interest when registering for WoW. You will then be sent an additional application to give us a few more details. If you do not receive the application form within 1 week of registering, please email us at womenofthewater.conference@gmail.com. You MUST register for the conference first.

All applications will be evaluated by the steering committee and the number and amount of awards will be made based on the number of applications and available funding. Because we are still a small grassroots effort, we cannot guarantee funding for all who apply. The deadline to submit a travel support application will be August 8th, 2023 @ 11:59 pm EST.
