LOCATION LOGISTICS
Mote Main Campus Aquarium (Day 1 & 3):
All conference attendees should park at the Mote Aquarium on Day 1 (1600 Ken Thompson Parkway). Please park at the aquarium and walk across the street to the Keating Center for the conference. Mote Aquaculture Park (Day 2):
All attendees should drive to and park at the Mote Aquaculture Park on Day 2 (12300 Fruitville Road) in the locations indicated in the maps below. The Marine Aquaculture Park is about 45-60 minutes (depending on traffic) from the main campus, so please plan accordingly. You can open and download the maps by clicking on the PDF icon below.
Directions to the Aquaculture Park:
The Marine Aquaculture Park is about 45-60 minutes (depending on traffic) east of downtown Sarasota and 6.9 miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Rd. The sign is not visible from the road, but the address is posted on the roadside mailbox. Once you turn right into the driveway, you will see the gate and Mote signage. Once inside the gate, follow signs for visitor parking. We will meet in building 874. Parking is available right next to the building.
Other things to note:
You will be touring a working aquaculture facility. We will be doing a lot of walking and some of the tour will be on uneven or wet terrain, both indoors and outdoors. Please wear cool comfortable clothing and shoes (rubber soles recommended). We suggest you bring a refillable water bottle.
